The City's Quiet Passing

When shooting this set of photos, a kind of warmth emerged—hidden in the city's crevices, flowing among strangers. Through the train window, a person leaned against the glass, lost in their own world but not feeling lonely. A smile was caught at the street corner. On the other end of the phone might be a friend from afar or just a routine greeting, but it was enough to make the cold air seem a little milder. Light shone on a half-drunk glass of wine, illuminating the moment of waiting. In a single turn of the body, the distance between people shortened just a little. At this moment, there is no longer a bystander—only a part of this city. The subtle and genuine connection between people is real, even without knowing each other.
