The selection presented within is from a long-term photographic essay entitled "My Americana" which the photographer has been producing since 2015. As the United States falls into a deeper political and cultural divide, the project turned to documenting the situations leading up to the election of 2020, it started soon after Donald Trump was elected, and Impeached. Continuing through the election cycle, and culminating in the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol January 6, 2021.
