Ravens have protected the Tower for London for centuries. The ravens are free roaming creatures, however the on-site Ravenmaster takes care of them, so they are coaxed into staying. It is said that “If the ravens leave the tower, the kingdom will fall…” Currently, the ravens still stand perched watching over all who enter the tower gates.
