I live in the countryside near Quebec City, Canada. Here, people usually like sunny days for cross-country skiing, snowtubing, snowmobiling, skating, playing hockey, etc. Personally, I prefer the peacefulness of grey skies and heavy snow, snowshoeing in isolated areas where you feel the entire world is yours. It offers a respite that is very welcome in today’s busy life. With this photograph, I aim to convey the fact that despite grey skies and monochromatic natural scenes, there are always colors in human presence.
