Water Sculpture

In the beautiful realm of events that are way to quick to be appreciate by us in real time, skimming stone are one of the most interesting for me, the water splash created by a flat stone impacting the flat surface of water it is so incredibly intricate and rich of details that i dedicate many sessions to try to capture these "Water Sculpture" Ingredients: a lake or a pond, a sunset, a stone, a quick camera and a really good and patient friend. Recipe: Wait until the sun is quite low enough, so that you have an intense golden reflection on the water surface. Collect a sufficient number of flat rounded stones, (the number of stones are directly correlate to the skill of your friend) Try to anticipate where the stone will skim the water, (it may be useful to promise your friend a reward for every good shot, usually beer works fine.)
