The picture includes three different architecture styles: in the foreground the bricks of a former harbour building, in the middle the Manhattan Bridge built between 1901and 1909 and in the background a skyscraper built at the end of the 20th century. The title relates to the Exit nomenclature of Highways as well as the exit sign of the restaurant which is today in the brick building.
