Leaves of Light

Captured in a Toronto forest in October 2025, this series transforms autumn foliage into a symphony of motion and light. Using intentional camera movement and long exposure, the images dissolve static leaves into flowing strokes—green, gold, and white weaving like calligraphy across the frame. Each photograph seeks more than representation; it offers sensation: the forest breathing, light cascading, time stretching into luminous threads. In an era of noise and haste, these abstractions invite stillness and hope, suggesting that even in shadow, brightness persists.
