REACHING FOR AIR I have lived simultaneously in two separate cities almost all of my life. I yearned for one, while being present at the other. To achieve balance has been a constant goal for my heart and my soul. Today's world has become increasingly unpredictable, leading to a sense of instability and uncertainty. We all feel overwhelmed and trapped at times. With balance in my subconscious, I started experimenting with mirror imaging in my work. Symmetry is defined as something being clean, proportional and balanced. It can evoke a sense of order, harmony, and perfection. It can help us reach for air.
