Our client, Nikon, asked me to create a series of images using the their Noct 58mm F 0.95 lens, as well as their 14-24mm lens. The extraordinary speed of the Noct 58mm F 0.95 lens, is the fastest lens I have ever used with manual focus and is incredibly sharp wide open. The essence of job was to emphasize the acutely beautiful aspects of razor thin depth of field. The 14-24mm lens at F2.8 provides an extraordinary optic, which was perfect for another one of the stand out images in this series.
