The series of works portrays the activities of an ethnic minority theater troupe in Yunnan, China. The works capture the cultural life and vibrant ethnic characteristics of the minority group through several key aspects: the troupe's backstage makeup, rehearsals, preparations, and the audience in front of the stage. In the process of shooting, a documentary and candid approach is strived for, allowing the on-site atmosphere and authenticity of the scenes, as well as the dignified images of the ethnic figures, to be fully expressed and recorded.
